Ms. Waldof's book, "Wilhelm's Way: The Inspiring Story of the Iowa Chemist Who Saved the Manhattan Project," is the winner of numerous awards, including the Minnesota Book Award for Nonfiction and the Excellence in Iowa History Award. Over a decade in the making, "Wilhelm's Way" reveals the untold story of the team at Iowa State that worked tirelessly to produce the essential element, uranium, for the Manhattan Project.
Having served in corporate leadership roles for decades, Ms. Waldof happily retired to pursue her passions: speaking and writing. She is a dynamic speaker who brings positive energy to every presentation she gives.
Ms. Waldof currently has multiple writing projects in progress, with her first novel of a four-book series (working title: "Pulitzer Prize Winner"), set to be published in spring 2026.

Teresa has an extensive background as an entrepreneur and senior executive, though her career began with selling “creepy crawlers” on the playground in second grade! She earned a profit from day one – because she received all her raw materials for Christmas. Always an outspoken person, when her teacher told her to stop, she told the teacher, “You’re a creepy teacher,” which landed her in the principal’s office.
Decades later, she is still challenging the status quo. Told by publishers that her concept for a book was not needed in the marketplace because no one had heard of Harley Wilhelm, she knew they were wrong!
She formed a new company, Third Generation Publishing, then published the book in January 2022. Since its publication, Wilhelm’s Way has won four book awards, including the esteemed Minnesota Book Award for Nonfiction and the Excellence in Iowa History Award.
With a BA in Speech Communications and an MBA from the University of Minnesota, Ms. Waldof’s engaging style will entertain and inform your team and her audience.
